Old Town

The oldest town on the Bergstrasse with many lovingly restored half-timbered houses in the historic old town dating from the 12th and 17th century.

Bergkirche (Hill church)

The protestant "Bergkirche" is one of the oldest remaining buildings in the town. It was built as a small chapel in 1258 and was extended and changed in the following centuries again and again.

Historic Scheuergasse

The "Scheuergass" is an old barn road which traces back to the year 1500.

Market square

The picturesque market square with its charming view of the colourful setting of half-timbered houses and the protestant "Bergkirche" (Hill Church) originates from the 17th century.
